Spencer's been gone so much that the children and I have been starting to wonder if he is a figment of our imaginations. Today I have proof that he is still in our lives. A dozen red roses sitting on my diningroom table. Sorry no pictures. I can't find my camera.

How wonderful Heather!
I can relate to the ghost-type husband. Karl Logged 74 hours at "work" last week, that didn't include the hour commute or the time spent trying to get the crop off the field and other farm stuff figured out. We've had a few days this month where the girls haven't seen him at all - unusual for us as they get up early and go to be quite late (11:00)- and I'm hoping those days are over soon. I'll be praying for you as you rely on our Lord to mother alone.
Love you!

Yeah, Spencer worked 51 hours two weeks in a row, but its a split shift and he often doesn't come home in the middle... So, it worked out to closer to 61, but then he's had other stuff to do. It's starting to get to the Point where he comes home when I am asleep and heads out before I am up. Not every night, but some nights. :-P

Yeah, it is different to mother without daddy around as much. Hopefully this wont last all that much longer. :-)

I loved all the pictures on your blogg. Wish we had those great spots to explore around here. The summer heat has killed just about everything. We had our first good rain so I am starting to see some green again. Yea!

Hope all is well with you Miss Shauna.

Love,
Heather
